Chester Whitmore taught a beginning tap class at Los Angeles Community College this semester (Fall '07). This is the final performance of that class after 4 months of study with Mr. Whitmore. This was the first time most of these students had ever taken a tap class.

It was recorded December 13, 2007 in the Camino Theatre at Los Angeles Community College in Los Angeles, CA.

Chester is my mentor. He has taught me everything I know about Lindy and Tap. And most of what I know about performing in front of a live audience. He is also the person who got me interested in dance history.
