With Master teacher Rachel Travernier, a native of Haiti, who was Ms. Dunham’s assistant for many years and now resides in Long Island, New York, Penny Godboldo, a Certified Dunham Technique Instructor who heads the Detroit, Michigan Dunham Crusade and Patricia Wilson, a Certified Technique Instructor, who hails from Vermont, you will get the very best in Dunham Technique instruction. Amongst our world class faculty is Chester Whitmore, MDC Associate Artistic Director and Master instructor in Vernacular Dance, including Lindy Hop, Jitterburg, Swing and Tap. Yeko Ladzekpo-Cole, MDC Principal Dancer and Master instructor in Ghanaian Dance and Dani Lunn, a Master in Brazilian Dance.


You will have an opportunity to watch video, and sit in discussion about the history of Katherine Dunham lead by Catherine Scotty Erdmann. The closing ceremony will include a short presentation by Marshall Dance Company and selected classes, a Certificate of Participation Award Ceremony and a reception
