To be honest, we didn't renew our Thawte certificate... Well, we did renew it -- and they discovered that our country code said "Canada" a day after we renewed, then were going to charge us again to renew again. Fact is, it had said Canda for the previous year, and they never told us anything about it.

So, we said screw them.
