What's the Deal with Swing I Video?

What's the deal with this Pablo guy you've got teaching Swing I.  Does he even know how to dance?

Why do you think we call it "Absolute Beginner's Guide to Swing"

We sometimes forget that our perceptions change as we advance in dance.  I began with Salsa, and as I began taking other dances and advancing as a dancer, my perception of the basics of the dance began to change.  That perception changed even more as I began taking Ballet and Ballroom and I began to pay much more attention to movement technique rather than dance style.

At some point, we totally forget what it was like to be an absolute beginner: To not know anything about stance, handhold, embrace, compression, connection, balance, center, partnering, etc...

It is from that standpoint that I look at the Swing I instruction video.  I don't know, and don't care how long Pablo had been dancing before he filmed this video.  What I do care about is that it is one of the best instructional videos I have ever seen in terms of getting an absolute beginner dancing basic, basic Swing in a relatively short period of time.  Not only is it the way I teach basic Swing, but I recommended this video to my students before CentralAveDance got involved in online video presentations.

Bottom line:  If you don't think the guy knows what he's talking about, don't purchase the instruction.  I can only tell you that the video wouldn't be on this site if I didn't believe that it had very good instructional value.  There is a free demo / preview available here.  You decide.
